Plank Road Construction

Construction work on Plank Rd between the railroad tracks and Baldwin St begins on Tuesday, September 26th. The work will consist of milling the existing pavement down 2” and repaving. The milling work is scheduled for Tuesday 9/26 and the paving is scheduled for Friday 9/29.

Traffic on Plank Rd will be restricted to one lane while work is taking place, outside of working hours both lanes will reopen. Temporary traffic signals will control the traffic during the work and intersections at Plank Rd and Sixth St as well as Plank Rd and London St, will be closed during working hours.

This work should maintain a better driving experience until the full reconstruction by DOT in 2028.
