About the City Attorney
  The City of Menasha Attorney is responsible for representing the City in all legal matters. This includes Civil Litigation in which the City is a party, as well as prosecuting City of Menasha Ordinance violations. A specific listing of major duties and responsibilities is contained in Sec. 2-3-4 of the Menasha Code of Ordinances and in s. 62.09(12) Wis. Stats. 

Please note: The City Attorney has only one client--the legal entity of the City of Menasha. The City Attorney cannot give legal advice to the public or parties other than the municipal corporation of the City of Menasha. The City Attorney cannot represent or advise private individuals in legal matters.
