Board of Review

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets at the call of the Chairman of the Committee - normally at Menasha City Center's 1st Floor Conference Rooms).  There may be occasional special meeting - please check the agenda to review details. The Board’s responsibility is to examine the assessment roll and correct all apparent errors in description or computation.  The board may add omitted property to the assessment roll, but shall not raise or lower the assessment of any property except after hearing.  For formal explanation of duties, please refer to  Sections §70.46 and §70.47 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. The Board consists of five (5) residents of the City, none of whom may occupy any public office or be publicly employed.  Members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Common Council for terms of five (5) years, with one member to be appointed annually, and contact information can be found in the City Directory.  If you are interested in serving on a board or committee please contact the Mayor’s office at (920) 967-3608.
