Police Commission

The Police Commission meets monthly or by call of the Chairman of the Committee - normally at Menasha Safety Building (430 First Street, Menasha).  For formal explanation of duties, please refer to Sections §62.13 of the Wisconsin State Statues the City of Menasha Code of Ordinances. The Board consists of five (5) residents of the City.  Members are appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Common Council for terms of five (5) years, with one member to be appointed annually, and contact information can be found in the City Directory.  No appointment shall be made which will result in more than three (3) members of the Commission belonging to the same political party.  If you are interested in serving on a board or committee please contact the Mayor’s office at (920) 967-3608.
