Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes Reinstated

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled on Friday July 5, 2024 that absentee ballot drop boxes are a constitutional means of returning absentee ballots. Please click here to view a press release from the Office of Governor Tony Evers.

The City of Menasha currently supports one absentee ballot drop box. This can be found in front of the Menasha City Center building at 100 Main Street. This black, metal drop box has signage indicating ballot return options. Please take care to use the City of Menasha drop box, and not the Menasha Joint School District drop box.

Notably, absentee ballots may still be submitted to the Clerk's Office in-person. The Clerk's Office is on the second floor of the Menasha City Center. Absentee ballots may also be returned by mail using pre-paid postage on the provided certificate envelope.

Please contact the City of Menasha Clerk's Office at (920) 967-3608 with questions.
