Menasha Parks and Recreation has written the following Policies to help maintain safe, equitable, and transparent services and programs. For any questions on these policies, please call our office.
The City of Menasha offers recreation program fee reciprocity with the cities of Appleton, Neenah, and the Village of Fox Crossing. This means that those city residents may sign up for programs and receive services at the resident rate. This also means that Menasha residents can sign up for programs and services for their resident rates. For further information call the Park and Recreation offices of Appleton (920-832-5910), Neenah (920-886-6060), or Fox Crossing (920-720-7108) or check out their websites. Residency is based on the municipality where your property taxes are paid or you vote in. Special note: Fox Crossing residents pay the non-resident rate for swim lessons and pool passes since Fox Crossing does not have a pool to share with Menasha residents.
Code of Conduct
Menasha Parks and Recreation Department events and programs are designed for all to enjoy, learn, and experience healthful gains. We believe that all participants and users are entitled to a safe, encouraging, and positive experience. We strive to create an atmosphere that is supportive of this goal. In order for it to be successful, all participants' and spectators' behavior and actions shall align with the Code of Conduct.
A $10 processing charge will be assessed for all refunds.
A refund may only be granted for a medical excuse before a program begins and through the first 25% of the program.
Full refunds, excluding the processing charge, will be given if the department cancels a program.
For other legitimate reasons, program credit (good for up to two years) may be issued before a program begins and through the first 25% of a program. (Example: 100% credit prior to program beginning, 75% anytime during first 25% of program.)
Program Status Line
For your ease, we have a program status line that you can call if you are questioning the impact on weather. Additionally, our program updates will be communicated to registered participants via Facebook, email, and if under 1 hour notice phone calls. The status line number is (920) 967-3657.
