Community Development Block Grant
The City of Menasha in the past received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. When these Grants are paid back, they are put into a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF). The RLF is reserved for housing projects and related administration used to establish a Housing Loan Program to rehabilitate residential property occupied by low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents.
