Direct Sellers Permit

The Common Council finds it necessary to regulate the practice of direct sellers going in and upon private dwellings in the City of Menasha not having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant of said private residences for the purpose of conducting any trade, profession, pursuit or occupation for gain.

To Apply:

Each applicant/solicitor must complete and submit the following to the Clerk's Office:

  • Direct Sellers Permit Application
  •  Copy of a valid photo ID
  • Payment:  The fee is $20.00 per solicitor
    • The City of Menasha accepts cash or check (checks are made payable to City of Menasha)
Once application, payment, and copy of the identification is received, the Clerk's Office will review and approve the permit.  Permits are valid for 90 days.
