Finance & Assessor

Our Finance Department provides for the financial activities of the City including: real and personal property assessment by the City Assessor's Office; management of data and report generation by Information Systems; collection and investment of funds received from fees and taxes by the City Treasurer; billing of special assessments and other miscellaneous charges by Accounts Receivable; payment for services and material by Accounts Payable and accounting, debt management, budget preparation, internal control and financial reporting by the City Comptroller.
Real Estate taxes can be paid in full on or before January 31st or in four equal installments on or before January 31st, March 31st, May 31st and July 31st. Any special assessments or special charges must be paid in full with the first installment payment. Personal Property taxes must be paid in full on or before January 31st.
